If you have trouble getting your GYROXUS to work, please follow the troubleshooting steps below. If you are still having problems after that, the information at the bottom of the page will explain what to do next.

Troubleshooting

 

PROBLEM:     The GYROXUS moves but nothing happens within the game.

Solutions:

Be sure the game controller is connected to The GYROXUS sensor cable.  (See the GYROXUS Setup instructions)

Reset The GYROXUS game controller.  (See the GYROXUS Setup instructions)

Be sure the game console, TV or video display are connected properly, are turned on and that the input on the TV or video display is set to the input used by the video game console.  (See your game console and TV or video display instructions)

Be sure the game controller's on/off switch is in the 'on' position.

Be sure the game controller's control selector switch is in the GYROXUS position.

Shut down the game controller and your game console, wait a minute and then restart the system following the GYROXUS setup instructions.

For wireless Playstation 3 Controllers:

Check to be sure the batteries are installed correctly in the wireless game controller.  Replace with 2 - 'AA' batteries as needed.

Check that the USB wireless receiver is plugged into the game console and the connection indicator light is on and not blinking.

Be sure the game controller is synced with the wireless receiver.  (See Setup for Playstation 3)

If you pause play for a few minutes, the game controller will shut down to conserve the batteries.  Re-center the control and continue play.  (See Setup for Playstation 3)

If you have more than one PS3, be sure to power up each console separately and complete the controller connection procedure for each before powering up any additional systems.

For wired XBOX 360 & Games for Windows Game Controllers:

Check the USB connection between the controller and the game console.  If you are using a USB extension cable, be sure these connections are made correctly.  (See Setup for XBOX360 & Games for Windows)

PROBLEM:     The GYROXUS moves but the game movement is limited.

Solutions:     Re-Center The GYROXUS. (See the Setup Instructions)

PROBLEM:     The game menu scrolls during menu selection.

Solutions:     The GYROXUS is leaning too far forwards or backwards.

Re-center The GYROXUS, switch the game controller from GYROXUS mode to game controller mode or switch off the game controller.  (See the Setup Instructions)

PROBLEM:     I can control the game with the left thumb stick but not with The GYROXUS.

Solutions:     Switch the game controller to the GYROXUS mode.
